Life sometimes gives us ‘coincidences’ that may not be coincidences at all. In the final stages of preparing the book proposal for the publisher, I had the dream summarised here. It had the wonderful two elements – building a bridge and encountering four people who had the joy of writing.
My sense of psychology as a discipline is it is divided into specialisms that don’t always relate to each other. I’ve always held the motive of drawing together psychology from different places and ensuring it has a wider understanding and use.
Maybe that is the ‘bridge’ in the dream and the book? And facing or proposing the huge task of creating a book, it was very energising to ‘meet’ four people loving writing! They gave me the energy and courage to try and feel the same, and to hold on to their feeling when things became difficult.
